Funding Birmingham: What does the data tell us?

Wednesday 1st May 9.30am arrival for a 10am start - 12.30pm@ Committee Room 2, Birmingham City Council House, Victoria Square B1 1BB . Refreshments on arrival
You don't have to have data experience or skills. If you are interested in attending, please bring along a laptop or tablet with charger ideally as you will be working in small groups.

This joint practical hands-on workshop with Birmingham City Observatory and Digital NNS is a follow-on from the WMFN November 2023 seminar on the latest ONS data insights. Feedback from members indicated an interest to explore in more depth and become familiar with different data sets with funding data that can help improve understanding of how data can be used to support work on funding, hence this event.
Birmingham City Observatory: The purpose of the Observatory is to unlock meaningful data in Birmingham, along side a team of data analysts and policy practitioners. An accessible online platform that provides a wide range of data sets to explore.
Digital NNS: Helps Birmingham’s 10 Neighbourhood Network Schemes, community groups, connected communities, social prescribers and social workers to build their digital and data skills and capacity so they feel confident about providing the right digital support to their citizens and communities to maximise digital inclusion.
